Shopping with Emily

Last week Emily and I went shopping for stationery, arts and crafts material and a few new games. I really enjoy visiting Emily’s Play School, the kids and their teachers. It brings back many wonderful memories and makes me proud of the special place that we have created together. I am grateful, that the kids have found a safe space that not only provides them with protection but also with love and understanding. Thank you to Emily and her team for their fantastic work and care!

A new school year started

At the beginning of the school year we were again able to equip all of our sponsor children with the required school stationary. These costs, as well as those for school uniform and a birthday present are covered by the sponsorship fees. It is a huge relief for our students’ families, that this expense is taken care of and that they don’t need to worry about it. Thank you!

Our homework class students went on an outing

The kids had such a great time on our last outing that we decided to return to Water World. We’ve known these kids for such a long time now and have all grown very fond of them. The group has formed a close bond of trust with the assistant teacher Zoleka and with each other. Here are a few snapshots of the fantastic afternoon.

Outing with the High School kids
